banana rum cake
the cake is rummy
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup butter(room temp)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup rum
- 3 bananas(mashed)
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 egg(room temp)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup pecans
process
- mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg [dry mix]
- mix butter, sugar till fluffy [wet mix/main mix]
- add egg, vanilla, sour cream [wet mix/main mix]
- add banana, rum [wet mix], may be curdled because butter and egg not at room temp
- fold in [dry mix] into [main mix](do NOT over mix)
- fold in peacans
- grease abundt pan
- bake @350F for 45 mins
- cool in pan for 15 mins
- invert and serve
